There’s nothing more tranquil to me than deep peaceful sleep. Sound sleep is one of the best things in life. It makes everything better. However, many people don’t have the luxury of peaceful sleep. Broken or inadequate sleep decreases the quality of life.
Things To Help You Sleep
Start by stop worrying. Worry makes matters worse and solves nothing.
Spend Your Days Wisely.
Spending the time you are awake wisely is a sure way to stop worrying. Spending your days wisely does not mean only engaging in constructive activity. It means doing what is best at a particular time.
The wise thing might be to relax and have fun or get down to work. Just be sure that when the day is over you can look back and have no regrets. This will help you relax.
A shower in the morning energizes, a shower in the evening relaxes.
As the evening approaches take a relaxing shower. For me a shower is more than getting rid of dirt. It is a ritual to remove tension and negative energies that I might have built up during the day.
After the shower do some light stretches to release any tension. Massage the soles of your feet with your thumb clockwise and anticlockwise.
Have Some Tea
Chamomile tea taken 2-3 hours before bed can help you to sleep peacefully.
The Day Is Done
At the end of each day think about all the good things you did. This will give you a feeling of accomplishment which will help relax you even more. You did enough today and nighttime is not the time to worry. It is time to relax and just be. Tomorrow is another day to make things better.
